my take on some stuff..food and whathaveyous..

a lot of going ons for me lately. been very busy with me and my sisters up and coming flight/venture for the year. i'm excited and i've been researching and reading a lot about cultures and stuff not just singapore's but it's neighboring countries, malaysia and indonesia. but then am mostly interested with thailand because am a fan of their horror movies. this is what i usually do months before i go somewhere, i research and read a lot because ignorance excuses no one. 

food trip

 'binalot' (this popular food stop where food is wrapped in a piece of brown paper and banana leaf).

fried ice cream - sounds interesting right? it's not really fried though because that'd be impossible. it was just called as such because they prepare while you wait in a what looks like a frying pan lol.

the ones they're selling now is far better than before. they now come in different flavors plus your choice of toppings.

speaking of unusual stuff, i watched dining with death few days ago and i can't wrap my head around why some people can afford to eat unusual things like tarantula and bugs.  in cambodia, they drown tarantula's to death, deep fry them then season to taste. in thailand, they drown scorpions to death and deep fry them as well and last but not least, in taiwan they see deep fried seahorse on sticks and bugs as well ewr.
