homey looney

just came home from a 3 day stay in manila yesterday. as soon as i got back here in baguio, i've never felt so home. i thought i missed manila but as soon as i came across the hot weather and the hustle and bustle in the city,i realized then, i don't wanna go back and live there anymore. baguio is now my home. i've never felt so empty during my stay there.

yeah, i missed st. francis square and megamall, the shopping haven for best and cheap buys when it comes to office clothings. other than shopping, i felt i can't endure the heat outdoors in manila anymore. it was annoying and made me snapped because of the whole cut rides from our house in antipolo to ortigas. gadh.

it was a rainy day here in baguio when we arrived, about 3 past pm. i missed the cold and the gloomy-ness, the greeneries and the small town. how can i be this at home in a short period of time of 8 months? i don't know, i guess i just got used with the cold weather and the slow paced life around here.

we missed our house cat moonie, the cat never left our side the moment he went home since we left yesterday. how cute.

life goes on and am pretty confused with a new job offer at the momeny. am really not sure---should i stay or should i go? i hope god clears my mind and help me decide.

extended weekend

It’s not so toxic at work lately so we get a lot of time off. Sometimes, I think it lessens the burn out feeling. But, whenever payday is coming up, it makes me wanna regret why i availed unpaid hours. Geez. Anyways, what makes me happy.

I got really pissed off with my sister yesterday because (due to sleepiness) she forgot her hand carry bag in this fast food chain along session which contained her purse and all her credit cards. Damn. I really fumed mad at her because that’s sheer stupidity. Yeah, mistakes happen but in this country, let’s face it, we’re so full of bad guys who would be tempted to do just about anything illegal out of poverty. I told my sister that the moment someone swipes her card and she fails to call the credit card companies ahead o

f time to advise her card was lost/stolen, charges would be valid and no matter how you fight for it, all will just boil down to one thing ; you still pay for it as your card is your responsibility.

So, after we got home to our parent’s house since it’s a weekend, we then hurriedly went back to session (good thing our brother is around to drive us off town) to chance, hope and pray, that her stuff did not go to the hands of nasty people.

Good riddance, the manager of the chain kept her stuff and said advised my sister that she’s supposed to send her a message over facebook to let her
know her cards are safe. We thanked the good samaritan and hopefully God rewards her for her kind deed and honesty. Haizzt. My point was, what if it went to the wrong hands right? I mean possibilities are endless so the only good thing was all went well. Gadh. I hate being in a middle of things where you’re supposed to have control .

Moving forward, I feel like it’s a Sunday while it’s a Monday. My weird sleeping habit is getting it’s toll on me...

I’m just having a hard time lately finding Tami Hoag’s free e-book downloads. Why oh why??

Since I’m off from work today, I’m babysitting my niece by shoving my sister’s ipad so I won’t be bothered hehe. Kids are so easily bribed. LOL. But I think I’m such a good Aunt for letting my nieces be kids. It’s free anyways :D

under the weather

(ccto rakista.com)
phew..it's been raining lately and the cold is really biting. i have acquired a lot of sickness like my allergic rhinitis just haunted me back and just few days ago i was rushed to the ER due to a severe case of gastroenteritis. gadh. now, i'm bombarding myself with meds and ors for roughly 4 days now and 1 more day to go i'm free from medicated drugs geez. i hate hospitals.

bookworm.
i'm recently reading lauren myracle's 'shine' ebook. it's about hate crimes which i believe was based from real life story based on the clippings scanned and included on the book.

rant.
i used to like rainy days but if you happen to work in the evening you'll hate rainy days. sigh.

life is too short.
karl roy, from the band 'kapatid,' 'p.o.t.' and 'advent call' passed away couple of days ago at the age of 44 due to cardiac arrest. karl roy was a popular rock icon back in the 90's, the glory days of pinoy rock.  i remember him as the rockstar donned with tattoos pretty much all over his body. he popularized many songs and one of which was "Yugyugan Na." R.I.P Karl Roy, the local rock scene just lost another bad ass frontman.
