i went to quiapo church with my siblings and our teenage niece last sunday. we want to tag her long to ma mun luk, the noodle and siopao house we used to go to when we were kids. ma mun luk's siopai is organic unlike the ones you buy from 711, hen-lin or chowking. it taste really good and the special noodle serving was huge. the waiter asked if we want extra bowls, which means they're meant for sharing. i thought it would be a good idea since the special noodle might be good for two. i had their siopao (P40 each) and their 'special' noodle (P95 each) whilst our niece and eldest sister had their 'special' siopao (P55 each). unfortunately, they don't serve juice only sodas so we just asked for bottled water instead. t'was a sumptuous meal for less than 500php, not bad. we're just pretty nostalgic today that's all.
