Here Comes The Sun

Upcycled my vanity table chair.

tapestry I bought from the
textile outlet.

It’s summer once again and it’s oh so freakin’ hot outside and I’d rather stay indoors than roast under the heat of the sun. I don’t like summer like I always say because the extreme heat from the sun is damaging for color-treated hair etc.

Anyways, moving on, been busy as always with more DIY projects. I’m loving fabrics lately that I’ve searched from stem to stern just to find real nice cloth for  my pillowcase project. Good thing, I found this huge textile outlet somewhere close to where I live which has a wide array of fabric to choose from. They have pretty much all materials for almost everything,  silk, laces, curtains, tapestries and so on and so forth. They even sell beads and yarns perfect for my second DIY dream catcher project for my niece.

I’m also quite busy making home decors for my sister’s new crib so I’m all glued to Pinterest most of the time especially when I don’t have work. I think I should’ve taken interior designing because I enjoy adorning/decorating houses more than anything lol. A house is like a blank canvass and your choice of accessories is what adds character to it. I have also re-arranged my work table at home btw, I feel inspired to work when my space is comfortable and everything that I need is right around the corner.

Summer makes me busy because of the darn heat! geez.
