eBay shopping haul

i have been enjoying shopping online for roughly 7 years now. queer as it is, i have not used eBay until this month although i set it up wayback 2008. i don't know why but i prefer local sellers probably 'cuz it just takes less than a week for me to receive the item/s.  i realized how big the world of eBay is just recently regardless of the long wait time for the package to reach my door. i thought, it wasn't so bad? so, i ordered quite a few items from iphone/ipod cases to this fast phone charger and it only took roughly 2-3 weeks before i got my packages! i think eBay shopping spree can be fun because eBay got everything pretty much?

lemme just say that UK sellers are the most reliable because of their Royal Mail courier. i haven't spent a dime btw yet for any of my parcels because my iphone cases were delivered to my doorstep whilst i picked up my super charger parcel from the local post office at no cost since my sister picked up her volume of parcels and paid tons, they allowed me to get my mini parcel at no cost teehee! philippine post office btw charges 50php for each parcel. they said it's customs fee for items bought overseas through online shops.

my latest super charger came from Hong Kong which i bought for 74php and shipping fee cost the same. imagine? a brand new iphone charger cost 200-500php (class A) whilst an original charger may cost 1k or more! what a big saving right? all you have to do though is endure the not so little time waiting for your item. i also love the fact that eBay allows you to leave feedback and rate the seller for the service they rendered which is just fair to both the seller and the buyer.

moving on, nuff of the eBay stuff. i might just be overwhelmed 'cuz i have not come across any despairing experiences yet in the wide world of eBay that's why i'm this happy. or wuz it shopping online is a de-stressing activity? i think it's the later.

as i said moving on,  i have been buying quite a few puffer coats lately from the local vintage shops because of the terrible cold here up north lately (the temperature dropped to 8・C!) so, this is the perfect time to hunt for puffer coats and use the season to wear those cool coats that will really keep you wuuuurm! i just salvaged mine today and i lurve my new puffie! i think if i buy this one from the mall, it'll cost a hefty whilst i got it for quarter the price ;) my sissy btw haggled on my behalf so no sweat.

beauty staples

LA Girl Pro Conceal HD
perfect under eye concealer because the texture won't leave streaks (you know the little under eye lines once you applied your foundation much thicker than usual?) it looks natural and blends well with your skin even if you sweat out.

Peripera Lipstick #26

i found this sleek looking lippie in watsons side by side clio modeled by sandara parks. for sure t'was a korean brand because of the description written all over it. it kinda looked really interesting because of how intricately made the lippie's tube was. not your usual lippie with just the tube and all that cuz it has this little handle beneath which makes it kinda looked like a small antique item/artifact. it was really artistic and i was conned to buy one because of how sleek and elegant it looks. i love nude lippie shades thus was the best impetus for me to go ahead and grab one inspite of the hefty price. it was even pricey than my usual make up brand revlon. i bought one as a trial item and i just wanna share that it's glossy and am not a fan of glossy lipsticks as i am a matte lover although kudos to their effort coming up with a nude shade giving women further option as far as earth-tone-lover women like myself.

Maybelline Mini Compact

good for your 'kikay' kit as it's really tiny and you could just shove in your pocket for a quick retouch. i usually use it as a under eye highlighter sort of after i put on my la girl pro concealer and it sticks the whole day long.

in2it eye colour palette

looks cute cuz it's really tiny and best for your handy make up kit/pouch as well because it has 4 palettes. you can use the pale pink one  as cheek highlighter; eye shadow for the dark shade of brown or can be used to contour your face/bronzer; blushie for the darker shade of pink.

BYS Bronzing powder #01

i never owned a bronzer to be honest because i am using one of my eyeshadow palletes as a makeshift bronzer to contour my face. anyways, i got it from watsons too and at first i thought the shade was a little light for a bronzer but what the heck that's the darkest they got. it was ok but i think it's better off as a blushie than a bronzer if you have fair skin. the color looks kind of gold once applied. it's also good to contour your nose as it looks natural just make sure to use the right brush.

BYS mini concealer

it's best used as highlighter i think because the texture is too thick for a concealer and it dries up pretty fast. it conceals better than my la girl pro concealer though. my only complain is the matte finish making the skin look a l'il dry even if you used a face primer.

new year, new beginnings

(photo grabbed from google photos)
another year has gone by and i'd like to welcome 2014, the year of the wooden horse.

my work schedule this previous year was quite hectic all the way down to christmas. it was really disappointing. i hate working during christmas season even if i get paid double because the time spent with the family is priceless. you'll never know what the next year holds for you. the yuletide
season is just once in every year so i hope mutinational companies should take into account that the workforce kingdom badly needs time off from work to celebrate christmas and new year with their families.

when i was in the big city, my previous job values the yuletide season thus they understand the part that if an employee worked really hard the entire year and was never absent nor late for work they truly deserve a big break at the end of the year. as opposed to the company i currently work for, they don't really care because the holidays is the time to work your ass off even more! how BS isn't it? as if you're getting even a fraction of what the company as a whole is earning??! BPO companies suck. this is why they like to outsource for cheap labor..so they can earn much much more and spend less on manpower. i've been here in this industry for so long and i know how corporate slavery is their 'thing.' f*ckin' capitalists.

anyways nuff of my rants. i was just annoyed that while everyone else is celebrating christmas and new year i slept early for work the next freakin' day. haist. life. 2013 was never good to me 'til the very last minute the clock ticked 11:59 PM.

new year, new beginnings. i hope so. i am hoping that this year would be better for me and my countrymen that are poverty stricken; those who lost their loved ones last year including myself; for those people who were affected by the calamites that frequented our country; and lastly, those who have hoped that the next years would bring about fortune and financial ease. i wish God's trunkline wouldn't be that busy this year. but then, good things comes to those who wait :)
