No Pain, No Gain

Thank God I don't have work today. I know it's quite unusual to be working on a Sunday whilst it's supposed to be Sabbath day right? That's why I am thankful I am out of the confides of the office today thus I was able hear Sunday mass amidst my sleepiness.

I never actually planned to stroll today hadn't for my sissy's itinerary this morning which was to get herself a 'marilyn monroe' piercing. I got curious how it would go and at the same time I am thinking of getting myself inked again after seventeen years so I said yeah sure why not. It cost her Php300 for the piercing which just took less than five minutes I think and she said it wasn't painful compared before when she had her nose pierced many years back. She just squirmed a little and walah t'was done. Chicken.

I remember back then, nothing has ever hurt me that much than my very first tattoo. Although on a scale of 1-10 I would say it was a 5. But of course, what to expect if it was your first time getting inked right? Although my expectation back then was that it would be so much painful and it wasn't. Pain can be addicting so I had my tattoo retouched after many years so technically, if ever, this would be my third time to get inked. I picked this design from one of the photos I found through google images and asked the tattoo artist how much it would cost so I would at least have an idea and save up for it. I was told a foot mandala tat would cost Php2k which is quite reasonable considering how intricate the design I chose. Anyways, I'll blog about it once I got one.

the bad ass
Lisbeth Salander
My sister asked why not get myself pierced instead for a change? I told her body piercing is not my thing because It doesn't suit my personality but I would consider getting my ears pierced and wear this earring that Lisbeth Salander wore in The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo flick.

Twinning's Four Red Fruits Tea +
my Salmon Salad :)
Moving on again, my sister bought one box of Twinnings Four Red Fruits Tea and I went gaga over it because of the cute red packaging. So, I snatched one and tried it and boy it tasted really good. I actually recommend it to people who are not into tea because it tasted like raspberry. Tea has anti oxidants by the way so it's definitely better than coffee although I'm a coffee person. It was quite pricey but what the heck it's even better than Chamomile. I also noticed that Twinning's red tea seems to hasten my slow metabolism for some reason which is a given on some tea variants. I told my sister that we should bring one on our HK trip! I think it'll be best especially once you drink it from a mason jar. Here goes my fascination with mason jars again ugh.
