save the last dance (2001)
the flick is about inter-racial relationship between a white girl and a black guy named derek (Sean Patrick Thomas). sarah (julia stiles), pained by her mother's death on the night of her ballet audition decided to forget about ballet after the tragedy. sarah became stuck with her jazz musician and low profile father afterwards. sarah transferred school, met derek and fell in love despite their racial differences.

lk in the clouds (1995)Paul (Keanu Reeves) and Victoria Aragon (Aitana Sanchez-Gijon) met on a bus bound to Sacramento, CA. Victoria, is problematic because her professor got her pregnant and her father would be enraged to know what've become of her. To make the long story short, Paul was kind enough to agree to become victoria's pretend husband just so the later will not take his father's wrath. Paul and Victoria eventually fell in love, got married for real after Paul. it was a wonderful, not-so-ordinary love story.
